Reviews
"Sass aces the troubled Shelby — now hard-eyed, now vulnerable, sometimes rocking on her heels as she nervously twists her backpack straps, always brilliantly idiosyncratic.”
-The Washington Post
“Juliana Sass is nothing short of amazing in her turn as Shelby … Sass bottles up all that complication into a piercing incarnation of hidden suffering, and alarming fragility. Then, in one bracing instant, set to music, she embodies the physical release of Shelby’s pain and rage, a soul purified by the airing of truth.”
-Metro Weekly
"Juliana Sass as Shelby was a standout … Ms. Sass had the chameleon-like ability to transcend the writing through her sheer luminescent acting skills.”
-BroadwayWorld
"Juliana Sass in the central role of Christiane turns in a chillingly focused and emotionally wrenching performance. She progresses stealthily from coolly matter-of-fact, to driven, to submerged in pathos and shock."
-Front Row Center
